Omelette was born on the east coast, and he’s a seasoned veteran of morning radio. He attended college in south Florida where the road began to radio fame.
If you ask the O-man about highlights in his 25-year broadcasting career, those moments will include: singing on stage with Sammy Hagar, forming “Kamp Omelette”, bungee jumping 280 feet, flying in a stunt plane, lunching with renowned chef Mario Batali, interviewing Ted Nugent, hosting Brian May (Queen guitarist) in the studio, creating radio stunts like “The Mall of the World”, obtaining a ten-year ratings success, and raising awareness and much needed dollars for local animal charities!
Omelette calls listeners and residents of northern Michigan, “The People” and feels they are his bosses! He admits, “Without The People, I’d be dead in the water and would probably have to get a real job”
In 2010, he married a Michigander, Jill; she is referred to as “Hank” on the show. They own two dogs, Cooper and Scorch, and reside in beautiful Traverse City!
