They call me "Cali" because I am from California, born and raised. I came to beautiful northern Michigan, for the first time on vacation in 2005 and I moved here in 2008. I absolutely love it here. This is where I belong. Some people might call me a “fudgy” but I prefer “perma fudgy" since I have no plans of ever leaving. I live in Traverse City with my husband (and fellow rock jock) Jim Smith, my three boys, our two cats and our two dogs. I can’t imagine being anywhere else. Michigan is my home now and forever.

I started my radio career in 2012 as an intern for morning radio and I found my love for broadcasting. Since then, I have grown over the years and have expanded my broadcasting career, my love of music -and of course- my love of people and talking. I enjoy rock hunting, especially hunting for Michigan's state rock, the Petoskey stone. I also enjoy painting, going to rock concerts and believe it or not, I have found a love for golfing.

My favorite rock bands are Aerosmith and Metallica. My favorite color is purple. My favorite actor is Leonardo DiCaprio and my favorite actress is Reese Witherspoon. My favorite movie is "The Goonies" and I would have to say that my favorite song is a toss up between "Blind Man" by Aerosmith and "Tiny Dancer" by Elton John.

I love meeting my listeners. Each and every one of them is unique and I wouldn’t give up doing what I am doing for the world. Broadcasting is my passion and I get to rock your airwaves on Northern Michigan’s Classic Rock Station the Bear 6 days a week! Make sure to tune in every weekday from 10am to 3pm and Sundays 3pm-7pm and don't forget to always KEEP ROCKIN!!!!
